TORONTO, Ontario (January 2025)–Canada’s Largest Golf Show is pleased to announce that HearingLife Canada will once again be the Official Hearing Partner of the Toronto Golf & Travel Show, presented by Golf Town and the Toronto Star. The show attracted record crowds last year and this year’s show promises to be even bigger and better with more exhibitors, contests and prizes. The show happens from January 31-February 2, 2025, at the Toronto International Centre.

This is the second consecutive year that HearingLife Canada has been the Official Hearing Partner of the Toronto Golf & Travel Show presented by Golf Town and the Toronto Star.

“We recognize the importance of hearing to the sport of golf; whether it’s from the social aspect or playing on the course and being able to hear properly and enjoy the game,” adds Mikail. “That’s why being the Official Hearing Partner is a great fit for us. We had a wonderful response last year with a lot of people coming by the booth to ask questions. We wanted to make that connection with people to help everyone understand the importance of getting their hearing tested, how their hearing might change over the years, and how to take care of their hearing.”
HearingLife Canada helps golfers across Canada get the most out of their game.

“HearingLife Canada is Canada’s largest hearing healthcare provider with over 350 clinics all over Canada and our mission is to help more Canadians hear better and to live a full life,” says Mikail Pardiwala, Brand Specialist & Project Lead. “We pride ourselves in making hearing health in Canada our top priority and providing personalized hearing care solutions.”

Statistics show that hearing loss affects many Canadians of various ages.

“According to Statistics Canada, two out of every five Canadians between ages 20 and 79 have some form of hearing loss,” states Mikail. “Statistics also show that it takes almost seven years from the time people first notice signs that they may have hearing loss to when they seek help. That’s something we want to address.” (Source: Statistics Canada “Hearing Health of Canadian Adults).
What are the early signs of hearing loss?

Mikail answers: “People will start turning up the TV volume, or they may be unable to hear their spouse speaking and ask them to repeat themselves. They also may have difficulty hearing in social situations, and this may lead to anxiety and other issues. That’s why it’s important for people to take care of their hearing early on.”

HearingLife Canada offers free hearing assessments for anyone over the age of 19. A doctor’s referral is not required. The free, no-obligation hearing assessment can take from 30 to 60 minutes and can be booked online or by phone.
